The Opportunity

Williams International has a need for engineering summer (2027) intern positions.

Interns may be assigned to any one of the following engineering areas:

  • Mechanical: Design, 3D Modeling, 2D Prints, Layout of Engine Systems, Bill of Materials, Stackup Analysis, Structural Analysis
  • Aerodynamics: Design, Performance Analysis, Fluid Flow Requirements
  • Thermodynamics: Engine Cycle Modeling, Engine to Engine Data Comparisons, Cycle and Thermo Analysis
  • Electrical: Design, Embedded Control Systems, Engine Control Software, Component/Assembly Testing
  • Software: Development, and Troubleshooting
  • Manufacturing: Additive, Advanced, Automation, Electrical, Process Development, Facilities, Test Methods
  • Chemical/Material Science: Materials and Processes, Chemical Coating, Welding Process, Penetrant Inspection
  • Quality: Reliability, Requirements, Buy and Make Part Inspection, Manufacturing Process Review, Failure Investigation

Intern Eligibility Requirements

  • Minimum of 60 credit hours (must be a junior or senior standing or in a Master’s program)
  • Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0, preferred
  • Course study must be in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Civil Engineering
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • U. S. Citizenship required
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U. S.
