Job Description

POSITION TITLE: Cloud Operations Engineer 
LOCATION: Phoenix AZ 
SALARY: Based on Experience 
SPONSORSHIP: No 
In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage the compute infrastructure that is used to power their real time meeting platform. You will be driving operational excellence of the their infrastructure through tooling and automation and will be working closely with our international teams to ensure the platform is constantly running at the highest level.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, deploy and upgrade our real time compute infrastructure
  • Ensure our systems are continuously monitored and running efficiently
  • Configure tooling for system scalability, ensure we have capacity for future growth
  • Be the point of contact for our highly sensitive environments.
  • Work with subject expert on troubleshoots and resolves complex problems.
  • Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter
  • On call rotation with other team members and possible weekend escalation or urgent deployment
Qualifications
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
  • 4+ yrs of relevant System Administration
  • 2+ yrs of functional configuration management
  • Strong automation mindset and a passion for root cause analysis and strategies to mitigate issues
  • Experience with performance tuning and debugging scalability issue of real time servers and applications
  • Experience with work with global team to provide high availability support to our customers
  • Experience of event monitoring, live troubleshooting, security vulnerabilities patches 
  • CentOS/RHEL systems
  • Excellent communication and people engagement skills
  • Experience with Cloud Computing platforms like Amazon AWS
  • Proficient with Python and Shell scripting
  • Experience with SOC, FedRamp, HIPAA compliances requirement and implementation
  • Virtualization implementation, administration on Kubernetes and docker is a plus.
