Job description

Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt, Seasonal
Work Duration: June 15 – July 17, 2026 (end date tentative; subject to change)
Work Schedule: Approximately 3–4 hours/day, varying by workload
Primary Reporting Line: Video Production Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Pre-Production

  • Assist with shot planning, scheduling, and on-campus location coordination
  • Help prepare scripts, interview prompts, and production materials
  • Organize and prepare camera, lighting, and audio equipment before shoots

Production

  • Assist with camera, lighting, and audio setup on location
  • Help keep shoots organized and moving efficiently
  • Operate a secondary camera or assist with framing and composition under direction
  • Support shoots across a variety of campus settings

Post-Production

  • Assist with media ingest, file organization, and project management
  • Support editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects
  • Help prepare and export finished videos for web and social media

General

  • Maintain organized digital assets and project files
  • Follow established brand and visual standards for school content
  • Assist with additional production tasks as needed
Position Requirements
  • Current high school student with an interest in video, film, or media
  • Some familiarity with cameras or editing software is a plus, but not required
