Job Title: Marina DockHand & Guest Services Associate

Job Type: Part-Time / Seasonal (Summer)

Job Description:
Hillside Resort is looking for a reliable, hardworking Marina Dockhand & Guest Services Associate to join our team for the summer season. This is a fun, active role where you’ll be working outside, interacting with guests on the marina side, and helping keep things running smoothly on the dock.

You’ll assist with boat rentals, help guests on and off boats, and keep the dock and rental boats clean and ready to go. If you like staying busy, being around the water, and working with people, this is a great fit.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist guests with docking and launching boats
  • Help load/unload guests safely and efficiently
  • Support boat rentals (pontoon, tiki boat, etc.)
  • Clean and maintain rental boats and dock areas
  • Keep dock and waterfront areas clean and organized
  • Monitor safety around the dock and water
  • Communicate clearly with captains, bar, and restaurant staff
  • Help with basic maintenance and upkeep of equipment
  • Provide a positive, helpful experience for all guests
  • Jump in and help wherever needed

Qualifications:

  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Good communication and awareness (safety is key)
  • Ability to stay calm and move quickly in a busy environment
  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Weekend and evening availability required
  • Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
  • Boating knowledge is a plus, but not required (we will train)
