Job description

Metal Fabricator / WelderAbout the Role

We are seeking skilled Metal Fabricators/Welders to join our team. In this role, you will work primarily with stainless steel and aluminum, performing high-quality MIG welding and fabrication on custom metal products. We are currently hiring for both 1st and 2nd shift opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum materials.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Identify various metals and apply appropriate welding techniques.
  • Use oxy-fuel torches, plasma cutters, and angle grinders to cut, shape, and prepare materials.
  • Fabricate and assemble metal components and structures to specifications.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area.
Qualifications
  • Experience with MIG welding required.
  • Knowledge of TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored Arc Welding is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
  • Understanding of steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and their welding applications.
  • Experience with metal fabrication, cutting, grinding, and assembly.
  • Hands-on welding experience is valued; formal welding education is a plus.

Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing facility. While the shop is not air-conditioned and can become warm during the summer months, it remains comfortable during the winter due to operating equipment. Welders work in individual booths with dedicated welding equipment and tools readily available.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
