Job description

Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
Location: Birmingham, AL
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking motivated Electrical Engineers to support the design and execution of complex, heavy industrial projects. These opportunities are ideal for recent graduates as well as early to mid-career professionals looking to grow their technical expertise and advance into leadership roles. Candidates will gain hands-on experience working alongside multidisciplinary teams while contributing to the development of high-quality electrical design deliverables.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design and review of electrical installation packages, including: single-line diagrams, motor elementary diagrams, interconnection diagrams, power distribution plans, cable schedules, lighting and grounding plans
  • Support senior engineers and designers in developing accurate and complete design documents
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated project solutions
  • Participate in client interactions and project meetings as needed
  • Learn and apply industry standards, codes, and best practices in electrical design
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency in design processes
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required
  • Entry-Level Electrical Engineer: Recent graduate to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Mid-Level Electrical Engineer: 5-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in heavy industrial projects
  • Experience with industry-standard software, including: Revit, AutoCAD 3D, Navisworks
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills in electrical design
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and design principles
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
