Utilizing experience with large‑scale distributed systems, you will drive insights and integrate new technology to improve the reliability, efficiency, and simplicity of the operational stack, eliminate systemic toil, and enforce long‑term architectural excellence.

US: $147000 - $210000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

  • Engage in and improve the entire lifecycle of Google Public Sector air‑gapped services, from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.
  • Support services before they go live via system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
  • Maintain live services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
  • Scale systems sustainably through automation, and push and contribute to architectural changes that improve reliability and velocity.
  • Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems.
