Job Description Senior Mine Geologist (Underground or Surface) Location: Winnemucca, NV Employment Type: Full-Time Position Overview M Force Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Mine Geologist to support exploration and production activities within a large-scale mining operation. This role plays a critical part in the identification, evaluation, and extraction of ore reserves while supporting safe, efficient, and economically sound mining practices. The ideal Senior Mine Geologist will apply advanced geological analysis, lead geological programs, and provide technical leadership across drilling, mapping, grade control, and orebody modeling efforts.

Key Responsibilities Support and promote HS&E policies and safety practices across geological operations Supervise, mentor, and develop junior geologists and technical staff Lead geological mapping, drilling, and logging programs Develop orebody frameworks and mineralization models used for resource estimation Oversee grade control programs and drilling activities Manage geological data collection including RC and core logging Review and improve QA/QC procedures across geological programs Generate and review conversion and growth exploration targets Build and validate 3D geological models to support mining operations Ensure timely completion of daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation and analytics reports Communicate orebody knowledge to engineering, operations, and technical teams Analyze geological data and prepare reports that support operational decision-making Support project planning, budget tracking, and performance monitoring Participate in technical research and geological evaluations to improve resource understanding Provide guidance on complex geological issues to internal stakeholders Contribute to project delivery while maintaining timelines, budgets, and quality standards Support the development and performance management of team members Stay current with industry technologies, regulations, and best practices Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Science, Geological Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of experience in mining geology or a related technical role Strong experience supporting mining operations, grade control, and resource modeling Experience supervising geological programs including drilling, mapping, and data collection Ability to independently analyze geological data and develop technical solutions Strong communication skills to collaborate with engineering, operations, and technical teams Job presented by M Force Partners M Force Partners is a specialized recruitment partner connecting top-tier talent with leading organizations.
