Job description

Responsibilities
  • Support the REIT’s investment, asset management, financial planning, capital markets, and investor relations functions through sophisticated financial analysis, portfolio reporting, underwriting, and strategic decision support
  • Own and maintain the company’s financial model and contribute to corporate development, capital markets, and investor relations workstreams in close partnership with senior leadership
  • Perform accretion and dilution analysis on prospective transactions and capital raises, and assess the impact on FFO, AFFO, and the balance sheet
  • Translate portfolio performance into the metrics and narrative that matter to investors, analysts, and lenders
  • Prepare reporting packages that position portfolio results consistently across leadership, investor, lender, and board audiences
  • Support corporate development pipeline by screening opportunities, assessing strategic fit, and analyzing market entry and exit considerations
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related field required
  • MBA, master’s degree, or CFA preferred
  • 4-7+ years of relevant experience in commercial real estate, REITs, investment banking, private equity, asset management, corporate finance, or real estate consulting
  • Advanced financial modeling skills required
  • Strong knowledge of commercial real estate valuation, leasing economics, debt structures, and investment metrics
  • Experience with REIT reporting metrics such as NOI, same-store NOI, FFO, AFFO, NAV, leverage, and dividend coverage preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Experience with Argus Enterprise, Yardi, MRI, VTS, Power BI, Tableau, or similar real estate/accounting/reporting platforms preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments
