We are seeking an IT Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the VP, Technology, you will play a key role in supporting and maintaining the organization's technology infrastructure while providing reliable, high-quality technical support to employees across the business. This hands-on role combines day-to-day IT operations with system administration, troubleshooting, and technology implementation to ensure secure, efficient, and reliable business systems. The IT Specialist will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support hardware, software, business applications, and IT projects while identifying opportunities to improve processes, enhance the user experience, and maintain technology that supports the organization's operational goals.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support across all office locations, including Microsoft 365, end-user devices, and core business systems.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Support employee onboarding, offboarding, and role changes by provisioning user accounts, managing system access, and preparing equipment.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and security settings across business applications and network resources.
  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system performance to ensure reliable operations.
  • Support internal business systems through basic troubleshooting, testing, user assistance, and system maintenance.
  • Assist with infrastructure and technology projects, including hardware deployments, office expansions, vendor coordination, and system implementations.
  • Create and maintain IT documentation, knowledge base articles, and user guides to support efficient operations and self-service.
  • Identify opportunities to improve IT processes through standardization, automation, and emerging technologies where appropriate.
  • Ensure IT systems, equipment, and processes comply with company security standards and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventories, software licensing records, and equipment lifecycle documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay current with new technologies and recommend improvements that enhance business operations and the end-user experience.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned


What You Bring

  • Post-secondary education in computer science or related program.
  • Fluency in both French and English is required, as this role will support all regions in Canada.
  • A minimum of one to two (12) years of experience in an IT helpdesk or technical support role.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and end-user technologies.
  • Familiarity with business systems (e.g., CRM/ERP platforms) considered an asset.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools and/or AI solutions (e.g.,Copilot, or similar platforms is not a requirement but nice to have).
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Experience working with ticketing systems or prioritizing services relating to system and network administration
  • Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills, and the ability to pivot and adapt quickly
  • Strong attention to detail
