Looking for more than just a summer job? Join Opterra Solutions for an 11-week, paid Summer Internship designed to give you real-world experience in the fast-growing Vegetation Management Services industry.
This is hands-on learning, leadership exposure, and field experience that sets you apart.
Compensation & Schedule
  • $15 per hour
  • Monday-Friday schedule (35-50 hours per week)
  • $40 per day per diem when overnight travel is required
  • Lodging provided for company-required travel

What You'll Learn
Industry Exposure
The Vegetation Management industry partners with commercial and governmental entities through a variety of specialized services. You'll gain a clear understanding of our core services and how they operate within large-scale business-to-business environments.
Business Development
  • Identifying and securing customers
  • Promoting services and building relationships
  • Understanding pricing strategies
  • Managing and maintaining customer databases

Operational & Project Management
  • How contracts are sold, staffed, scheduled, and managed
  • Front-end job cost analysis
  • Back-end profit & loss evaluation
  • Budget management and revenue stream analysis
  • Time spent both in the office and the field to see the full operational lifecycle

Field Experience (Hands-On Training)
Work directly in our core service areas using our proven processes, equipment, and methodology.

Who Should Apply?
We're looking for motivated current or rising college students pursuing degrees in:
  • Business or Management
  • Agriculture / Agribusiness
  • Environmental Studies or related fields

You must:
  • Be 18+ years old
  • Be available full-time for 11 weeks
  • Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Be comfortable working outdoors in various conditions
  • Have basic computer skills (Email, Word, Excel)
