Job description

Position Title: Program-Production Planner UPM Additive -

Reports To: Program Coordinator Leader

About the Role
United Performance Metals is hiring a Program Production Planner to support our fast-growing Additive Manufacturing division. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone with experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
You'll play a key role in ensuring on-time delivery, efficient production schedules, and strong supplier coordination across a complex manufacturing environment supporting industries like aerospace, defense, and medical.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and manage production schedules, work orders, and manufacturing plans
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal operations teams
• Monitor capacity planning, lead times, and production constraints
• Manage inventory levels, raw materials, and material planning
• Track and update customer orders, delivery timelines, and order status
• Support logistics, shipping coordination, and supply chain operations
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and production teams
Qualifications
• Experience in Production Planning, Scheduling, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, inventory management, and Excel
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred / Bonus Skills
• Experience in Additive Manufacturing, Metals, CNC, or Industrial Manufacturing
• Background in materials planning, logistics, or demand planning
• APICS Certification (CPIM / CSCP)
• Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher)
• Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings
