Engage, connect, make a difference this summer by joining the Summer Adventures team! This summer Lakeville Area Schools Summer Adventures program is seeking multiple Summer Adventures Lead Instructors!
As a Lead Instructor with the Summer Adventures summer program you will be teaching and assisting in the development, implementation and evaluation of elementary age care and enrichment activities, programs and services to children kindergarten through grade five in a safe and enriching environment.
Number of Openings: 6
Position Description/Qualifications:
  • Develops and implements age-appropriate theme based curriculum that aligns with the Minnesota School Age Indicators of Progress
  • Works directly with large and small groups of children in planned activities throughout a variety of settings, such as: classroom, cafeteria, gym, playground and while on field trips
  • B.A. or B.S Degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification

Schedule/ Hours:
  • Program Dates - June 5 through August 28, 2026. Closed June 19 & July 4
  • 8 hours per day. Shift start and end times vary by building
  • 32 hours per week plus some Fridays

Salary:
  • $23.00 - $31.12 per hour depending on experience
