To thrive as a Summer Animation Intern, you should have a foundational understanding of animation principles, visual storytelling, and relevant coursework in animation or digital art. Familiarity with industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) or 3D tools like Maya or Blender is often required.
