Overview

The 9-week Summer Analyst role offers hands-on experience working with clients, team members, and leadership in a consultingenvironment. As an analyst, you will support projects by managing tasks, meeting deadlines, and creating deliverables using tools like Excel and Power Pivot. You will analyze data, build models, and identify trends to help clients make informed business decisions. Strong communication skills and the ability to incorporate feedback are essential. A proactive, problem-solving approach is required to evaluate options and suggest solutions. The role involves collaborating with the team and upholding company values. This position will provide you with valuable experience in analysis, project management, and client engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Prioritize and deliver all assigned project tasks on time, meeting quality standards and project timelines.
  • Utilize standard processes, templates, and tools to consistently prepare high-quality client materials.
  • Identify, communicate, and escape risks, issues, or delays that could impact project outcomes.
  • Perform pricing-related and ad hoc data analysis using Excel, Power Pivot, and other analytical tools with strong attention to detail.
  • Prepare routine reports and analyses to support clients, actively incorporate feedback, and use effective listening and questioning to understand client needs.
  • Leverage approved AI-enabled tools and other workplace technologies, as appropriate, to improve productivity, enhance the quality of work, and support informed decision-making while maintaining accountability for all work products.
  • Collaborate effectively as a team member, contribute to team deliverables, and proactively manage the quality of individual work.
  • Demonstrate company culture and core values through behavior and interactions with colleagues and clients.
  • Embrace feedback and continuously seek improvement in personal and team performance.
  • All team members are expected to support the organization’s commitment to information security, confidentiality, and system reliability. This includes following established policies and procedures, safeguarding sensitive and client information, reporting potential security concerns, and supporting incident response or business continuity efforts as needed.

Qualifications

Education:

Actively enrolled in an accredited university, entering the final year of studies prior to graduation. Relevant fields of study include business, finance, management, economics, statistics, actuarial science, data science, data analytics, mathematics, engineering, computer science or a related field.

Work Experience:

Demonstrated ability or experience in project management.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in computer applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively manage context and prompts to optimize output of AI-tools, evaluate and validate their outputs, using sound professional judgment while safeguarding confidential information and adhering to company policies and professional standards
  • Energetic and driven with a strong sense of personal responsibility
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Compensation: $30/hour
