The ideal candidate will have experience working with subsurface data integration, geological interpretation, reservoir modeling workflows, and data quality validation. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with geologists, engineers, analysts, and technical leaders supporting asset evaluation, volumetric analysis, and strategic resource development. Key Responsibilities
- Compile, organize, validate, and integrate subsurface datasets into Petrel projects, including well data, directional surveys, formation tops, fault interpretations, mudlogs, and geological inputs.
- Develop and maintain integrated 3D static geological models across multiple acreage areas using Petrel or comparable subsurface modeling platforms.
- Build geological frameworks and rock property models that accurately represent reservoir architecture, stratigraphic relationships, structural interpretation, and reservoir heterogeneity.
- Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) reviews of geological data, model inputs, and final model outputs.
- Integrate well control data, geological interpretations, and subsurface datasets into project-ready models supporting technical evaluations.
- Prepare geological model deliverables used for volumetric calculations, reservoir characterization, and development planning.
- Document modeling assumptions, workflows, data sources, methodologies, and limitations to support repeatability and future updates.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including geologists, reservoir engineers, data analysts, and natural resources professionals.
- Support ongoing improvements to subsurface workflows, data management practices, and technical evaluation processes.
- Perform additional technical duties as needed to support subsurface analysis and asset evaluation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
