Job Title:  Special Education Teacher, K-2 Long-Term Substitute 2026-27  
Date Available:  September 14, 2026 - January 4, 2027 (Anticipated)
Description: The position is a long term sub responsible for the delivery of academic and functional programming for a K-2 special education resource classroom. Effective communication skills are required to supervise education technicians, integrate related service providers, coordinate with general education staff, and work with families. Anticipated dates of position are 9/14/26 - 1/4/27.



Salary Range:  View the applicable collective bargaining agreement for salary schedules, compensation, and related employment terms. Professional Staff Contract
Qualifications:  State of Maine Department of Certification as Teacher of Exceptional Students K-8 (282), experience with ELA, math and positive behavioral regulation strategies preferred.
