Touchstone Wellness Center LLC is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Substance Use Disorder Mental Health Therapist to join our outpatient team in Macon, Georgia. Our outpatient office in Macon, GA, operates under a remote model, allowing flexibility while maintaining active communication within the team. You will have the opportunity to work Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. • Conduct thorough assessments to determine the specific needs and clinical goals of patients entering treatment for substance use disorders.

• Create individualized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices, adjusting them as necessary to respond to patient progress.

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions employing motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques, actively engaging patients in their recovery journey.

• Lead group therapy sessions that focus on building community, sharing experiences, and fostering mutual support among participants.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of integrated, coordinated care that addresses all aspects of the patient's health.

• Offer crisis intervention to patients experiencing substance-related emergencies, ensuring their immediate safety and care.

• Educate patients and their families about the nature of addiction, effective recovery strategies, and available community resources to enhance their support network.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that complies with ethical standards and legal requirements, ensuring continuity of care.

• Engage in regular team meetings, case consultations, and continued professional education to stay current with the latest developments in substance use disorder treatment.

In this role, you will work directly with individuals battling substance use disorders of various backgrounds and demographics. Your focus will be on not only aiding their recovery but also supporting their families to ensure a comprehensive support system. The diversity of cases you will encounter allows for continual growth and adaptation in your therapeutic approaches.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia is mandatory to practice.

• An understanding of substance use disorders, paired with familiarity in employing evidence-based treatment modalities, is critical.

• Prior experience in delivering individual and group therapy in addiction treatment contexts is highly desirable.

• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client interaction.

• Proficiency in maintaining professional boundaries and upholding ethical standards within therapeutic practices.

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient success rates.

• At least one year of direct counseling experience, particularly in settings focused on substance use disorders.

• Previous work in outpatient practices that emphasize a holistic approach to patient care is advantageous.

This position offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 80,000 to 100,000, complemented by potential bonuses and a sign-on bonus.
