This full-time role is primarily remote, enabling you to work from the comfort of your home while still offering support to clients through our outpatient office facility when necessary. • Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use history, identifying the presence and implications of co-occurring disorders.
• Work with clients to develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that consider both mental health and substance use goals.
• Provide high-quality individual and group therapy, facilitating skills development in emotional regulation, coping strategies, and relapse prevention.
• Engage in regular collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure that care is synchronized, including attending case conferences and sharing insights.
• Implement strategies for substance use monitoring and provide motivation support through advanced techniques such as motivational interviewing.
• Deliver educational resources to clients and their families about the dynamics of mental health and substance use disorders to promote understanding and treatment adherence.
• Document treatment progress, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly in adhere to legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to keep current with best practices in integrated care approaches.

Our clients are individuals who experience complex challenges associated with both mental health and substance use disorders. This role is particularly geared towards helping clients achieve comprehensive wellness through integrated treatment strategies. Building strong therapeutic alliances is crucial, as the relationship established with clients greatly influences their recovery journey.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.
• Demonstrated competency in evidence-based therapies specifically for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• A strong grasp of the nuances between mental health and substance use disorders, along with a commitment to client-centered approaches.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to engage actively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling role, with a clear focus on treating clients with co-occurring disorders.
• Prior experience working in an outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Awareness of and familiarity with local community resources and support systems for clients recovering from mental health and substance use challenges.
