ROLE SUMMARY/PURPOSE:

The Project Manager IV (PM IV) is a senior-level project executive responsible for overseeing Locke Solutions' largest, most strategic, and technically complex projects. This role operates with a high degree of autonomy, serving as the primary executive liaison for major customers, high-value programs, and cross-functional internal initiatives. The PM IV drives strategic project outcomes, influences business decisions, leads portfolio-level planning, and champions continuous improvement efforts across operations, engineering, production, and logistics. This individual also serves as a leadership resource for the PM team, coaching PMs I-III, guiding departmental standards, and contributing to organizational strategy as Locke Solutions scales.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the senior point of contact for key customers, major accounts, and strategic initiatives.

Lead internal and external kickoff meetings for high-impact projects.

Oversee project schedules, budgets, contracts, and resource allocation at an advanced level.

Resolve high-level technical, operational, and logistical challenges across multiple disciplines.

Collaborate closely with engineering, production, logistics, and sales to optimize project execution.

Lead complex negotiations with customers, vendors, and subcontractors as needed.

Oversee risk identification, mitigation planning, and escalation management across all assigned projects.

Guide and support PM I-III roles in schedule management, cost control, communication, and execution.

Represent Locke Solutions in executive-level client meetings, site visits, and technical discussions.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
8-10+ years of experience managing large-scale, complex, or multi-phase projects.

Subcontractor project management experience on projects exceeding $5M, preferably within the concrete industry.

Advanced technical understanding of precast concrete, engineering principles, or construction processes.

Proficiency with ERP or project management platforms such as Procore, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project.

Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities effectively.

PMP certification or equivalent senior-level project management training preferred.

Ability to travel to job sites and client meetings as required.
