The Certified Subaru Technician is responsible for performing advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models. This role ensures high-quality, efficient work while maintaining manufacturer standards and providing a great experience for our customers.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on customer and inventory vehicles
  • Complete manufacturer-recommended services and warranty repairs according to factory specifications
  • Accurately document repair findings, recommendations, and completed services in the dealership's repair order system
  • Conduct multi-point inspections and communicate results to service advisors
  • Maintain shop equipment and personal tool inventory in excellent working condition
  • Stay current on manufacturer technical bulletins, recalls, and training requirements
  • Ensure all work meets dealership, manufacturer, and safety guidelines
  • Collaborate with the service advisor and parts departments to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of automotive technician experience (main line, flat rate, or dealership experience preferred)
  • Current ASE certifications or factory certifications
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills with the ability to repair all vehicle systems
