About the Role

As a Interior Integration Engineer, you'll support aircraft modification programs by developing and coordinating engineering solutions affecting interior commodities and systems. You'll work closely with engineering teams, suppliers, certification specialists, and customers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What You'll DoAircraft Modification & Design Support
  • Support customer modification programs affecting aircraft interior commodities and systems.

  • Contribute to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and execute approved modification data packages.

  • Review engineering designs and actively participate in the development and integration of modification solutions.

  • Assess the impact of proposed modifications on aircraft systems and installations.

Technical Leadership
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to project team members.

  • Support engineering teams throughout project execution and proposal development.

  • Help drive project success through quality deliverables and effective collaboration.

Project Execution & Coordination
  • Ensure engineering deliverables are completed on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives.

  • Analyze project requirements and develop engineering documentation and schedules.

  • Track project performance and communicate progress to leadership.

Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts, suppliers, vendors, internal departments, and regulatory agencies.

  • Support the design, installation, integration, and certification of new interior components and floorplan modifications.

  • Provide engineering data to Certification Engineering teams to support certification activities.

Communication & Reporting
  • Escalate project risks, issues, and execution challenges as needed.

  • Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.

  • Maintain clear communication across all project stakeholders.


Required QualificationsEducation & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and significant related experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of aerospace industry experience.

Technical Expertise
  • Strong understanding of aircraft interior systems and engineering principles.

  • Knowledge of interior completion and green aircraft engineering.

  • Familiarity with aircraft certification processes, including:

    • Type Design

    • Supplemental Type Design (STC)

    • Major repairs and modifications

  • Ability to analyze engineering designs and evaluate system impacts.

Pay Details: $1.00 per hour
