ABOUT STRONG

We are STRONG โ€“ A Pilates-inspired, cardio-infused, and designed for a full-body workout that is low-impact and high-intensity. Our diverse classes, including ROW, RIDE, and REFORM, are designed to help clients maximize their performance and achieve their fitness goals.

THE ROLE

The Studio Manager will oversee all aspects of studio operations, ensuring an exceptional experience for members and guests. This role requires a dynamic leader with a passion for fitness, strong organizational skills, and the ability to foster a vibrant community culture. Additionally, the Studio Manager will lead up to 10 STRONG Pilates classes per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Community Engagement

  • Serve as the primary representative of the studio, embodying the brand's values and ethos.
  • Greet and acknowledge all clients by name, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Maintain an enthusiastic and supportive attitude toward all members.
  • Ensure accuracy and currency of member profiles.
  • Cultivate and enhance the community culture inherent to STRONG.
  • Support the promotion and sale of memberships, merchandise, and additional services.
  • Manage and post brand-aligned content on social media to increase visibility and engagement.

Studio Operations

  • Ensure the studio environment is consistently clean, safe, and inviting.
  • Oversee studio maintenance between classes to uphold high standards.
  • Lead by example, instilling a sense of pride and responsibility in the instructor team.

Administrative and Management Duties

  • Oversee all daily operations of the studio.
  • Manage client interactions and follow up on inquiries received in person, via phone, or email.
  • Administer the studio's social media presence, including the Instagram and Facebook accounts.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive membership sales and conversions.
  • Proactively engage in marketing initiatives, training programs, and staff development efforts.
  • Utilize Hapana software for class scheduling, member check-ins, sales processing, payment reporting, and new client onboarding.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a team of fitness professionals to deliver top-tier classes and customer service.
  • Execute basic marketing tasks, including the distribution of monthly newsletters.
  • Address member inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and promptness.

STRONG Classes

  • Lead STRONG Pilates classes according to the set schedule
  • Provide personal attention during class, ensuring clear, precise, and easy-to-follow cueing
  • Ensure clients maintain proper form at all times and offer modifications as needed
  • Understand client injuries before class to provide appropriate adjustments
  • Create an energetic and motivating class environment
  • Manage class elements, including lighting, music, and pacing, while maintaining seamless instruction
  • Introduce all new clients to the Rowformer and Bikeformer before class

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years management experience in the fitness industry is preferred
  • 6+ months of group fitness teaching experience
  • High school diploma or GED required; a degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in studio management software, such as Mindbody or similar platforms, is advantageous
  • Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for health and fitness
  • Reliable means of mobility for travel to studio location

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Personal Trainer or Pilates certification from a recognized organization
  • CPR and AED certification obtained through in-person training is required
  • STRONG Academy certification (Provided by STRONG)

  • Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.

Compensation: $80,000/year
