Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Studio Leader to join the firm as part of our Education team at our Washington, D.C. office. Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results. Our ideal team member is passionate and progressively seeking more responsibilities to expand their expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary leader for growing the Washington DC Education studio by actively identifying, pursuing, and securing new project opportunities to expand our footprint in the Education sector
  • Establish credibility in the Education market, nurturing existing client relationships while building new, long-term partnerships
  • Collaborate and strategize with Education Leadership and firm-wide executives to position Corgan for high-value pursuits, transform leads into project wins, and open doors to new client networks
  • Strategically engage in high-level project visioning and maintain client satisfaction
  • Exceed business objectives by motivating a team of talented professionals, aligning their growth with the expanding studio, and cultivating our Education presence
  • Offer high level, strategic guidance to project teams across all phases, ensuring the design excellence and ingenuity promised is seamlessly delivered
Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Masters of Architecture -  must be an NAAB-accredited degree (required)
  • 15+ years experience that includes Education project experience locally (required)
  • Professional registration in architecture (required)
  • Passion for driving business development for this studio with demonstrated experience doing so (required)
  • Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
  • Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD and other graphics-related programs preferred
  • Qualified candidates should exhibit a strong aptitude for business development, strategic leadership skills, presentation skills and high self-motivation
  • Must have convincing conceptual design skills as well as an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to collaborate in team environment with clients of all calibers
  • Flexible attitude and high energy

This position is designated as full-time on-site and requires the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Regular, reliable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.

Base Salary Range: $130,000- $198,000 annually - Washington DC locations only 

The estimate range represents the general base salary range of candidates hired in Washington DC only. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training. In addition, base salary is not inclusive of total compensation.
