This can include interior design, set design for photography or film, and optimizing spaces for functionality and creativity. Studio Designers often collaborate with clients, artists, and production teams to ensure that the studio meets both practical needs and artistic visions. Their role may also involve selecting furniture, lighting, color schemes, and materials to achieve the desired look and feel.

How much does a studio designer make?

The average salary for a studio designer typically ranges from $45,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on experience, location, and the specific industry. As a Studio Designer, collaboration is a key part of the role. You will frequently work alongside art directors, copywriters, account managers, and production teams to ensure that design concepts align with client objectives and brand standards.
