Job Summary
Are you passionate about health and wellness? Are you naturally confident and outgoing? If so, you need to join the member service team at our upscale sauna studio in NYC! We are looking for positive, confident, results-oriented team members who love to connect with people. As the expert on all of the studio's services, amenities, and programs, you’re responsible for building lasting relationships with prospective and current members, ensuring they’re maximizing their Perspire experience.
This is a position to work from two Perspire Sauna Studio locations in NYC: our Flatiron studio (50 West 23rd St., New York, NY - Manhattan) and our Williamsburg studio (191 N 8th Street, Brooklyn, NY). You will be working 4 to 5 shifts per week of 6 to 8 hours in length, based on a monthly schedule which may include weekday evenings and weekends.

Here's what you’ll do as a Sales Associate:
  • Enthusiastically greet and engage with all guests in studio and connect with each one on a personal level. This is the most important aspect of the job!
  • Administer studio tours and education on the benefits of sauna/contrast therapy.
  • Promote the benefits of infrared saunas, contrast therapy, red light therapy, and the value of having a monthly membership
  • Sell memberships, packages and retail products with confidence in a commission-based atmosphere to reach monthly sales goals
  • Proactively reach out with high energy to prospective new guests and past guests by phone, text and email using our established processes and software
  • Attend community outreach events in the studio's neighborhood to promote the studio and sign up new leads
  • Multitask while manage bookings, check ins/outs, membership changes, product inventory, and inbound communications at the front desk.
  • Complete assigned cleaning duties

Compensation:
  • Starting pay of $18 per hour, paid every 2 weeks, with successful training completion plus any applicable commissions on sales.
  • Automatic pay raises of $0.50/hour every 4 months up to $20/hour, subject to a perfect track record of on-time attendance, professionalism and compliance with company policies and procedures.
