OVERVIEW

We are seeking an energetic and reliable team member who is passionate about wellness, community, and creating a seamless guest experience. In this role, you will support both the studio and retail environments, ensuring that every interaction reflects the ALO standard for service, cleanliness, and brand integrity.ย 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Guest Experienceย 

  • Be a welcoming presence for every guest, creating meaningful connections in the studio and in the retail space.ย 
  • Respond to inquiries in person or by phone regarding classes, schedules, studio policies, and retail offerings.ย 
  • Accurately manage client registrations, check-ins, and payments.ย 
  • Communicate guest needs and feedback to Studio Manager promptly.ย 
  • Uphold company standards and approach all situations with respect, empathy, and professionalism.ย 

Studio Maintenanceย 

  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and visual standards in studio and associated areas.ย 
  • Setup and reset studio spaces for classes including regular cleaning duties.ย 
  • Clean and organize mats, props, and supplies as needed.ย 

Building Communityย 

  • Support sales of memberships, class packages, and retail products.ย 
  • Educate guests about ALO classes, workshops, and community offerings.ย 
  • Support the retail space as needed during class times and slower studio moments.ย 
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations across studio and retail spaces.ย 

QUALIFICATIONS

Part-Time non-exempt associates are expected to work up to 30 hours per week, based on the needs of the business, for a shift minimum of 4 hours. All employees without exception are expected to be able to work during the company's Blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving (including Black Friday and Thanksgiving weekend) throughย the end of the holiday season (the 1st week of January).ย

Studio & Community Associate Scheduling & Availability

Part-Time non-exempt associates are expected to work up to 30 hours per week, based on the needs of the business, for a shift minimum of 4 hours. Full-Time non-exempt associates are expected to have open availability, 7 days a week, between 32 - 40 hours. All employees without exception are expected to be able to work during the company's Blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving (including Black Friday and Thanksgiving weekend) through the end of the holiday season (the 1st week of January).ย 

The Company's Associate base pay range is $18.00 - $20.00/per hour in Washington D.C. Please also note, Associates are eligible to participate in the Company's Monthly Store Incentive bonus program, which may result in bringing the total compensation to a higher range. Further, the range listed is just one component of the Company's total rewards package for retail employees. Other rewards may include: clothing allowance, employee discount, 401K, competitive medical, dental, and vision plans, commuter benefits, and ALO Wellness Club.
