Assistant Studio Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manager on Duty when Studio Manager is out, ensuring daily production is met and member experience is held to a high standard
  • Assist in coordinating initial and ongoing sales drivers (pre-sale events, studio events, outreach)
  • Responsible for overseeing the sales process and systems, including meeting performance metrics through membership sales
  • Manage, monitor, coach-develop and evaluate the performance of all Sales Associates
  • Compliance and adherence to Business Policies for daily studio operations
  • Assist with training and scheduling of all studio staff
  • Model all studio activities through self-involvement (leading by example)
  • Responsible for New Hire onboarding and delivery of initial Sales Associate training schedule
  • Ensure that all front desk systems are followed such as proper Member Check-In, Telephone Inquiries (general and sales related), Guest Registration, delinquent account procedures, customer care calls, change requests and document scanning
  • Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service, using effective decision-making to help resolve customer service issues
  • Manage social media platforms, social calendars, and monthly newsletter, using marketing tools for effective community involvement
  • Responsible for ensuring that the facility is clean, maintained and operationally sound

  • Proven sales and leadership experience is required
  • Must possess excellent leadership skills to create a positive, successful environment for staff and members
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work and function in a team environment
  • Flexible to work day, evening and/or weekend hours as needed
  • Passionate about fitness and helping others achieve their goals
  • Previous management experience in the health & fitness industry strongly preferred
