Job description

Make a true impact in the lives of students by providing essential Occupational Therapy services for a local educational community. This part-time, contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated OT ready to work onsite across four school locations, contributing expertise and compassion to help students thrive academically and personally.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Louisiana OT license required
  • Experience in school-based OT settings highly preferred
  • Comfortable working with diverse student populations
  • Open to supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
  • Strong collaborative, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to travel between assigned sites as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy interventions for students with various needs
  • Conduct thorough assessments to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Document progress, maintain compliance documentation, and report outcomes
  • Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to promote student success
  • Supervise and provide guidance for assigned COTA as necessary
  • Serve four schools: Castor High School, Gibsland High School, Arcadia High School, and Crawford Elementary
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary teams to support students’ IEP goals

Role Details:

  • Contract duration starting ASAP through May 21, 2027
  • Onsite position, working 20-25 hours per week
