TOS Student Assistant
Texas One Stop represents a significant collaboration among every unit across the Office of Enrollment Management, Student Accounts Receivables, and Bursar Services. The staff is cross trained in the areas of registration and records, student accounts, and financial aid.
Texas One Stop Student Assistants are vital to the student-centered student services at UT Austin and will work to support the Texas One Stop team through collaboration. Student assistants will contribute their critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure our student support services are meeting students' needs.
- Serve as first-level contact for students, parents, and campus partners.
- Greet visitors at the Welcome desk in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manor.
- Provide general information, answer common questions, and guide visitors to the correct department or staff member.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Complete daily tasks to ensure the office operates efficiently.
- Occasionally assist with and attend Tabling and Outreach events.
- Contribute ideas and support to TOS social media efforts.
- Enrolled at least half-time
- Meeting SAP requirements
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
- Availability during business hours (Monday โ Friday 8AM to 5PM)
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
