Job Description

This selected candidate for this internship will support the Power Delivery Performance & Analytics team.  This group provides a broad and varied range of support services related to the development and analysis of operational, reliability, and performance data and metrics across Power Delivery and Capital Projects.

  

Job Duties / Responsibilities include:

 Working in a team environment to assist in day-to-day activities, including but not limited to: 

  • Python development for data transfer and manipulation
  • Assist in report building in Power BI, SQL, PowerAutomate and MS Excel.
  • Assist in documentation of technical work
  • Review and improve existing reports and dashboards.
  • Support data collection and distribution of reports.
  • Provides departmental assistance with project management initiatives and other work deliverables.
  • Create ad hoc data tracking and measurements to support stakeholder requests.
  • Assist with redesign and maintenance of SharePoint site(s).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Collaborate and work with multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Travel may be required for the position.

Education Requirements:

  • Candidates must be actively enrolled and pursuing a bachelors, masters or doctorate degree with a concentration in Engineering, Business, IT applications, Data Science, Economics/Math, or similar program (for the duration of their internship) 
    • Preferred: Seeking candidates who will be classified as a Junior or beyond at the time of hire.   
  • Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 (on a 4.0 scale), verified through an official transcript from the previous semester.

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position:

  • Strong technical skills in Excel and/or Power BI.
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently, and in a team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Independent self-starter with attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Microsoft products knowledge with preferred advanced Excel tools (e.g., pivot tables, macros)
  • Python experience required.
  • Highly Desired: Analytical and technical capabilities with Power BI report creation, SQL & SharePoint experience, PowerAutomate experience, and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS) development experience
