Job description

Position:                    Student Employee  - Football  (4 Openings) FWS

Department:             Athletics

Classification:          Part-time, non-benefit eligible

Location:   Lisle Campus

Rate:                         State minimum wage

Duties:               While working within the Benedictine Football program, the studentwill learn a variety of skills and knowledge of what it takes to run a collegelevel football program. The student will work closely with coaches and staffmembers as a general worker.  Federal work study funds are required.

Available Roles in the Football Program at Benedictine University:

  •  Video assistant
  •  Equipment assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and coordinate the filming of practice and games for the football team, upload the film to the video platform used by the football team, film every game and practice, travel with the team on away trips.
  • Other miscellaneous duties assigned by the coaching staff.

Knowledge to be gained:

  •  How to perform miscellaneous jobs needed to be completed to run a successful college football program.
  •  How to use a film platform and the use of video on HUDL during the fall season and during the spring season.
  •  Other miscellaneous skills needed to run a successful collegiate football program.Â
