Wageย - $19.81 per hour

Schedule -ย Full Time, 8hr shifts, Monday - Friday; 7:30 am to 4:30 pm

  • This is a temporarily position through December, 2026.

MTC is proud to operate the Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center in Reno, NVย where our staff provide quality services to our local youth. We value our professional and caring employees who are dedicated to improving people's lives and we wantย YOUย to join our team!

Essential functions:ย 

  1. Perform a variety of secretarial and clerical duties, including dictation and transcription of correspondence, reports, and other documents.ย 
  2. Schedule center review board hearing and prepare files for necessary documents.ย 
  3. Maintain and track negative incident reports, student contract, student payroll deductions and student bus tickets in accordance with guidelines.ย 
  4. Maintain records and files.
  5. Maintain appropriate office supplies.ย 
  6. Distribute incoming mail, prepare outgoing mail, answer telephone, and convey messages. ย 

ย Education and Experience Requirements:ย 

  • High school diploma or equivalent ย 
  • Two (2) years clerical experience, and computer proficiency required.ย 
  • Bilingual- Spanish preferred but not requiredย 
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry 20-30 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license in the state of work with an acceptable driving record required.
