Job Summary
The Work Study Student will support the Office of Student Activities as an Office Assistant on the East GA - Swainsboro Campus beginning Fall 2026.
Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.
Employment is contingent upon funding.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service
• Ensures cleanliness and maintenance of space
• Ensures fairness and confidentiality of students who utilize the pantry
• Tracks inventory by ensuring all visit data is recorded

Shift Specifics

• Up to 13 hours per week
• Flexible with schedule of availability

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements

• Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.

Other Required Qualifications

• Must be Federal Work eligible.

Proposed Salary
$12.00 per hour
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
