Job description

Job Title

Performs a variety of technical procedures under the supervision of a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and/or Radiologist. Applies prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging examinations and assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as described or required. Scope of practice is limited to static imaging only. Fluoroscopy and Surgical exams are out of scope for this job description.

Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Current enrollment in a formal ARRT-qualified Radiologic Technology training program.
  • Upon hire: Washington X-Ray Technician Registration or Washington X-Ray Technician Temporary Practice Permit.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • 6 months be enrolled in a formal ARRT-qualified Radiologic Technology educational program for a minimum of six months.
