Job Summary and Qualifications

The Radiology Technologist operates standard, portable, and specialized X-ray equipment to perform routine and semi-complex radiographic examinations used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you, who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. 


What you will do in this role:  


  • You will prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety. 
  • You will develop and process films and transmit to a Radiologist for interpretation. 
  • You will administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. 
  • You will ensure prompt transfer of images and documents to PACS system(image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).  
  • You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment. 
  • You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.  

What qualifications you will need: 


  • Must be a graduate of an AMA accredited program with a certificate or degree in Radiographic Technology. 
  • Should adhere to ARRT guidelinesofobtaining 24 continuing education credits bi-annually. 
  • Must be ARRT Registered with ARRT – RT(R) or Registry eligible (must be registered within one year of completing program).  
  • BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
