We are seeking a Predictive Analytics & Strategy Student for our Toronto District, within our Canadian Buildings Division who is available for 4 month or 8 months starting September 2026.

As a Predictive Analytics & Strategy Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

Responsibilities

Collecting, cleaning, and organizing large datasets from multiple internal and external sources

Performing exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and key drivers

Ensuring data integrity, consistency, and documentation

Assisting in the development, testing, and refinement of predictive models

Applying statistical and machine learning techniques appropriate to the business problem

Evaluating model performance and refining assumptions as needed

Translating analytical findings into clear insights that inform strategic decisions

Developing dashboards, visualizations, and summary materials for non-technical audiences

Supporting scenario analysis and forecasting exercises

Working closely with strategic functions and leadership teams to understand business questions

Clearly communicating methodology, assumptions, and findings

Incorporating feedback and iterating on analyses

Qualifications

Working towards a degree or diploma in a data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science and/or analytics-related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Exposure to machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, or clustering

Experience with SQL and relational databases

Experience working with large datasets

Proficiency with analytical languages (such as Python or R)

Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Python visualization libraries

Strong written and verbal communication skills
