Job description

Sumner Place is seeking a part time Life Enrichment Assistant! In this position, you would spend time with older adults one-on-one and in group gatherings to provide them with personalized activities and conversation to provide enrichment to their lives.

This is a part-time (24 hours/week) position with an every other weekend requirement.

Qualified candidates will possess high personal integrity, a caring attitude, and take pride in bringing joy to our residents every day! This role does play an important role in providing meaningful interaction for individuals with dementia/ Alzheimer's Disease. Our Life Enrichment / Activities Assistants stay active on their feet throughout the day.

Daily tasks include:

  • Planning and leading groups and activities
  • Providing one-on-one engagement to residents
  • Completing and documenting assessments
  • Gathering residents for activities and assisting to load and secure residents into vehicles for outings
