Job Summary
The Georgia Gwinnett College Office of Student Life is dedicated to promoting a supportive, creative learning environment by developing campus community through high-quality student-centered programs and services. The Office of Student Life (OSL) is looking for energetic students to provide a friendly and effective customer experience to all students, faculty, staff, and guests in various areas. Specific functional assignments include Level One Game Room Attendant, and Information Desk attendant. One or more specific functional areas will be assigned based on preference, availability, and need.
Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance and accurate information to GGC students, faculty, staff, and guests.
  • Maintain level of security in designated areas and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Assist with establishing and enforcing building and department policies and procedures.
  • Attend workshops and trainings as required.
  • Assist with event management, including room setup and A/V duties.
  • Collaborate with OSL staff on projects as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, depending on specific functional area.
    Work Hours -
  • Position may require non-standard work hours (nights and weekends).

Required Qualifications
  • Assist with daily tasks, including answering phone calls in a professional manner, checking in students, collecting data, and supporting Student Center events
  • Provide assistance and accurate information to GGC students, faculty, staff, and guests
  • Maintain a clean work environment ยฟ Attend workshops and trainings as required
  • Collaborate with Student Life staff on projects as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, depending on need and availability
