Position Summary:
The Part-Time Weeknight/Weekend Supervisor oversees evening and weekend operations of the Garrison Activity & Conference Center, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment while supporting events and providing excellent customer service.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Supervise building operations during assigned shifts.
  • Support events, room setups, and facility inspections.
  • Assist students, faculty, staff, and guests.
  • Supervise student employees.
  • Operate the campus ID card system, including issuing, replacing, updating the ID card report, and troubleshooting ID cards.
  • Monitor facility safety, security, and cleanliness.
  • Report maintenance, custodial, and security concerns.
  • Troubleshoot minor building and audiovisual equipment issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Customer service or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and special events and on an as-needed basis during the summer.
General Days/Hours:
• Academic Year: Monday-Friday 5 p.m. -11 p.m. Saturday, 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Sunday, 1:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
• Summer: Hours are adjusted based on university operations and event needs; part-time supervisors work on an as-needed basis.

Minimum Qualifications:
An earned high school diploma or GED required.
