The Manufacturing and Maintenance Engineer Intern operates within their local team and supporting projects.
Value Stream Mapping
Capital Assets Identification & Organization
Design and Build Oil Mist Cart
New Product Roll-Out
Reorganize Current Layout to Accommodate New Equipment
Spec and Install Shop Floor Audible Break Signals
Contribute to delivery of projects
Direct responsibility for engineering activities
To operate as part of local engineering team to share best practice, and support activities
Working with our Engineering and Maintenance team to complete the task
To succeed, you will need
Education level: Undergraduate or graduate students. Typically rising juniors/seniors/graduate students; freshman & sophomores welcome.
Relevant Previous experience: In relevant major for internship focus.
Knowledge areas/Skills: Strong communication skills & attention to detail. Willingness to learn new skills & about vacuum technologies in a professional/dynamic environment
