Preferred Student Classification Nature & Purpose of Position
Responsible for planning and creating engaging content for SHSU social media and writing news stories for Today@Sam. Job also includes attending university events and assisting with photo and video projects. Performs other marketing/content-related duties as assigned.
Other Requirements for the Position
Prefer mass communication major with a public relations or multi-platform journalism emphasis; have writing experience; and be available to work 10-20 hours per week between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., some weekend work for events.
