Department Information
The Division for Student Life champions community, well-being, learning and success throughout each student's transformational co-curricular journey at Bridgewater State University to ensure they learn, grow and succeed. We do this by empowering our students to develop into individuals with a sense of meaningful belonging, capable of creating inclusive healthy communities.
Position Information:The Student Life Media Assistant will help share and promote positive experiences of students who were impacted by the services provided by our team.
Duties will include:
  • support marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives
  • photography
  • videography
  • social media content creation
  • curation of the divisional vibe
  • other duties as assigned

Eligibility requirements:
  • Must be a Bridgewater State University undergraduate student registered for a minimum of six credits for the Fall 2026 semester.
  • Must have Work Study award in your financial aid package

Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Some experience with social media and content creation.
  • Some experience with photography and/or videography

Physical Demands
  • Light office work
  • On-foot travel across campus for photo and video shoots
  • Carrying and operating a camera
