TITLE: City Math Coordinator
*stipend $863 for season*
QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Has previous successful experience in sponsoring student activities.
  2. Has substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the activity.

REPORTS TO: Principal/Assistant Principal
JOB GOAL: To oversee and mentor students participating in City Math. At the same time, the sponsor must instruct and demonstrate behaviors that lead to acceptable character development, self discipline, self confidence, and pride of accomplishment in the students.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Serve as an appropriate role model for students through his/her instructions and actions.
2. Communicates regularly with the principal/assistant principal on City Math activities.
3. Follows the District's approved policies.
4. Serves as a mentor to each students to promote the character traits of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.
5. Provides assistance, guidance and safeguards for each participant by his/her presence at all activities associated with City Math.
