Trojan Mobile Internship Opportunity at Troy University!


Compensation begins at $17 / hour! Looking for a paid internship where you can gain real experience and be involved in major campus events? Trojan Mobile, the only wireless plan for Trojan Nation, is hiring Campus Interns for the 26-27 school year to support one of the growing initiatives on campus.


You’ll get the opportunity to:

  • Work directly with Trojan Mobile and university partners
  • Support campus events, including athletics and orientation programs
  • Help conduct outreach and organize student engagement activities
  • Contribute to social media and content creation


About Collegiate Mobile:

Collegiate Mobile is a next-generation wireless company focused on connecting people with their university communities. Through official school partnerships, we create mobile services designed for students, employees, alumni, and fans, while supporting campus programs and community initiatives.

We launched Trojan Mobile in partnership with Troy University. We will be supporting campus and athletic events, student life initiatives, and will work with student housing and local businesses, to grow our involvement across the Troy community.


About the Role:

As a Sales & Marketing Intern, you will support Trojan Mobile’s campus initiatives at Troy through event coordination, student engagement, and day-to-day operations. You’ll be involved in organizing and supporting campus events such as orientation programs, athletic events, and student activities. This includes helping with event setup, coordinating materials, giving sales pitches about the product to current students, employees, alumni and fans, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience for attendees.


You’ll also work with the Trojan Mobile team and university partners to support engagement efforts and contribute to social media content that reflects real Troy campus life.

Responsibilities:

Campus Events & Student Engagement

  • Support on-campus events, including orientation programs, athletic events, and student activities
  • Conduct own outreach to campus organizations, residence halls, and local businesses for future collaboration events
  • Help organize and run student engagement activities that create a welcoming campus experience
  • Comfortably pitch our product to current students, employees, alumni, and fans, while adjusting approaches to each group
  • Answer general questions from students, parents, and attendees in a clear and professional manner
  • Assist with social media content creation
  • Knowledge of both video and graphic design experience (Canva) preferred but not required
  • Follow all university guidelines and company policies during activities

Event Logistics & Inventory

  • Help manage event materials such as tents, banners, tables, and promotional items
  • Support setup and breakdown for campus events
  • Ensure materials are organized, maintained, and ready for use inside of storage unit
  • Track usage of materials and assist with restocking when needed

Qualifications:

  • Current Troy University student
  • Interest or experience in campus involvement, events, student organizations, or customer-facing roles
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Fast response time and communication with Campus Engagement Manager
  • Clear communication and interpersonal skills, ability to adjust pitch to different groups (students, employees, alumni, fans)
  • Comfortable working with different groups across campus
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
  • Familiarity with Troy’s campus life, student culture, and athletics
  • Ability to lift and carry event materials (up to 50 lbs.) is a plus
  • Ability to drive/have a car used for transporting event materials is a plus
