WHAT YOU'LL DO

This position provides solutions to enterprise accounts in the insurance and financial service industries. The role engages with enterprise prospects and current enterprise clients and is responsible for maintaining and developing quality relationships with the economic buyers and influencers of key prospects and clients. The role focuses on identifying viable opportunities and recommending solutions that build long-term renewable and profitable revenue streams.

WHERE YOU’LL WORK

This position will work hybrid out of the Leawood, KS office. Remote candidates will be considered.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME
  • Demonstrated enterprise sales skills and able to accurately present all solutions offered in a confident and competent manner
  • Strong networking skills and ability to cultivate new and existing relationships
  • Must be a team-oriented individual that can work collaboratively across all departments (Sales, Customer Service, Business Services, Product, Marketing and Content Development)
  • Success and a track record of forming deep relationships with key economic buyers that have resulted in long-term productive and profitable business relationships
  • Career minded, driven and entrepreneurial individual who can work independently and effectively within a team environment.
  • Proficient knowledge of computers and applications including CRM, Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other emerging technologies.
  • Travel as needed to engage with enterprise and key strategic clients
  • Valid driver’s license and an ability to maintain business expense submissions for reimbursement.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Three + years of B2B/enterprise and/or B2B/national account sales experience
  • Consultative solution selling experience in a business-to-business role
  • Ability to document and display contract negotiation experience with enterprise clients
  • Experience working with Client Success team(s) to successfully onboard and manage post sale relationship(s)
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed sales goals and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication, organizational, time management, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
HIRING RANGE

The current full-time, annualized base pay hiring range for this role is $57,700.00-$82,500.00. In accordance with applicable state laws, we are providing the expected pay range for this position. Individual compensation will be determined by various factors, including relevant experience, qualifications, current business needs and local market factors. Most regular, full-time employees are eligible to participate in an Ascend incentive bonus or salesplan.
