Job description

Nocturnist Prn Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant

Intensive Care Consortium (ICC) is seeking a nocturnist PRN experienced acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce, Florida. Qualified candidates:

  • Acute care certified NP or experienced PA
  • At least 12 months ICU APP experience preferred
  • Available PRN, 4 shifts per month
  • APP providers must be proficient with and credentialed to perform routine critical care procedures including central and arterial line placement, intubations, dialysis catheter access, and management of mechanical ventilation
  • Night shift only
  • 12-hour shifts covering a 30-bed medical/surgical ICU and 12-bed CV ICU
  • Structure: 1 MD & 1 APP (7am to 7pm); 1 MD & 1 APP (7 pm to 7 am)
  • Busy program with high acuity patient population
