Job Title: Construction Safety Compliance Officer
Job Summary
The Construction Safety Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that all
construction activities comply with federal, state, and local safety regulations. This role
develops, implements, and monitors safety programs to protect employees,
subcontractors, clients, and the public from workplace hazards. The officer conducts
inspections, provides training, investigates incidents, and works closely with project
managers to maintain a safe and compliant job site.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor construction sites to ensure compliance with safety standards set by the
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and company Standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety plans and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and hazard assessments.
• Identify potential risks and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead incident investigations and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, and compliance records.
• Coordinate and deliver safety training programs, toolbox talks, and emergency drills.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory inspections and audits.
• Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, subcontractors, and HR to promote
a strong safety culture.
Qualifications
  • JMAN Electrician preferred
  • Certifications and training such as NFPA70E, OSHA 30,OSHA 10, CHST (Construction Health and
    Safety Technician) preferred
  • STSC preferred
  • STS preferred

Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of safety experience in the Electrical construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, hazard recognition, and risk
management.
• Experience conducting safety audits and inspections.
NFPA 70 E preferred but not required
