Position Summary... What you'll do...Role summary:
The Senior Manager, Store Network & Design provides strategic leadership for Walmart's physical network infrastructure by defining enterprise cabling standards, workforce capability, and technical governance. This role develops long-term strategies for structured cabling, telecommunications design, and infrastructure readiness across new stores, remodels, and special projects. Partnering with Realty Construction, Realty Execution, Global Technology, Security, Architects of Record (AOR), and vendor partners, the Senior Manager drives continuous improvement, technical innovation, and operational excellence while ensuring scalable, reliable, and future-ready network infrastructure that supports Walmart's evolving business needs.
About the team:
The Store Network & Design team serves as Walmart's technical authority for structured cabling and physical network infrastructure. The team develops enterprise design standards, maintains the Master Cabling Library (MCL), governs telecommunications requirements, and supports construction programs across new stores, remodels, and special projects. Working with Construction, Realty Execution, Global Technology, Security, Architects of Record, and vendor partners, the team ensures every facility is designed with scalable, reliable network infrastructure while continuously improving design quality, technical standards, workforce capability, and long-term operational readiness.
What you'll do:
  • Define the enterprise strategy for Store Network & Design.
  • Own cabling standards, telecommunications design, and infrastructure governance.
  • Partner with Architects of Record (AOR) to improve telecom design and planning.
  • Lead Walmart's BICSI-certified Training Center and certification strategy.
  • Establish vendor scoping, survey, and documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with Construction, Realty Execution, Global Technology, and Security.
  • Drive innovation, technical standards, and continuous improvement.
  • Measure design quality, workforce capability, and infrastructure readiness.

What you'll bring:
  • Experience leading enterprise structured cabling or network infrastructure programs.
