Low Voltage Technician $25-28/hour

Build the Infrastructure That Powers Modern Connectivity

We are seeking a skilled and driven Low Voltage Technician to join a growing team responsible for delivering high-quality communication and security systems across commercial and industrial environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who takes pride in precision work, thrives in hands-on roles, and wants to expand their expertise in structured cabling and advanced low-voltage systems.


Key Responsibilities
  • Install and configure IDF/MDF buildouts, including racks and cabinets
  • Pull, route, and secure Cat6, fiber optic, and coaxial cabling
  • Perform Cat6 terminations using T568B standards and RJ45 connectors
  • Terminate and test RG11 coaxial cable systems
  • Conduct cable testing and troubleshooting using Fluke and Klein testers
  • Splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cabling
  • Install and support CCTV systems, security cameras, and access control devices
  • Patch network devices and perform system upgrades or rework as needed
  • Reinstall and maintain coaxial infrastructure
  • Operate cable pullers, work within cable trays, and utilize power tools safely and effectively

Qualifications
  • Experience in structured cabling, low-voltage installations, and fiber optic systems
  • Strong understanding of cable installation, termination, and testing processes
  • Familiarity with fire alarm and security system installations is a plus
  • Ability to work in active job sites, confined spaces, and elevated environments
  • Capable of reading and following technical drawings and specifications
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing clean, high-quality work

Preferred Certifications
  • OSHA 10
  • Confined Space Certification
  • Scissor Lift Certification
  • Additional low-voltage or cabling certifications are a plus
